Noble Education Initiative's (NEI) New Educator Prep Program (NEPP) is an approved Out-of-State Educator Preparation Program for the Tennessee Achievement School District & Tennessee Public Charter School Commission.
Who Can Apply?

An individual has a BA degree with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA in something other than education but has a permit to teach in TN
Prerequisites for Enrollment:
- A completed bachelor’s degree or higher
- Have a current TN Teaching Permit
A Candidate enrolled in NEPP could move from a Permit to a Practitioner immediately.

- Qualifying Praxis score for Endorsement Area
After enrolled in NEPP the candidate will qualify for their practitioner license

NEPP we will support you through the process of earning your Practitioner I License. The Practitioner license is renewable for3 years but, must be applied for each year. In order to receive a Practitioner II License, the PLT exam for your grade band is required and any reading requirements must be completed.
